Everybody needs a little help when it comes to keeping yourself together on a night out. We here at Synced have put together a list of must-haves and what to do to ensure a smooth ride.

Pre-drinks

When you’re a student money is always tight. Offering to host pre-drinks can help save some cash. Not only that but it also gives you time to socialise with your friends in an environment where you can actually hear them. Throw in some party games like ‘Never Have I Ever’ to make things interesting.

Get mixing

Since you’re hosting the pre-drinks, you have the freedom to try out that brand new concoction you have always been interested in. How about the Pink Panty Dropper? It takes 18 cans of beer, one bottle of vodka, one bottle of tequila and one and a half jugs of pink lemonade. Mix all the ingredients together in a large container, throw in some lemon slices to kick up the flavour and let it sit for a few hours – et voila! For more drink recipes, check out drinksmixer.com.

Pack the essentials

Nobody wants to leave the house on a night out only to find they’ve forgotten their ID or purse. Make sure to pack what you need well in advance, including money, chewing gum and lip balm; the essentials for any night out really.

Plan ahead

Most clubs near universities are going to offer student nights at a discounted rate. To avoid paying excess entry fees, we recommend checking Facebook pages or picking up flyers for any promotions. A little bit of research will go a long way for your purse.

Set limits

To avoid the dreaded hangover the next day be aware of your limits. Monitor how much you drink, how much money you spend and keep an eye on the time. You could always bring out a certain amount of cash with you in order to make sure you don’t go overboard and avoid buying everyone in the club a Jagerbomb.
